Zidoval is a prescription-only vaginal antibiotic gel used for bacterial vaginosis (BV).

Active ingredient

Each gram of vaginal gel contains metronidazole 7.5mg (0.75% w/w).

Formulation notes

Vaginal gel supplied in a 40g tube with five disposable applicators. Each applicator delivers 5g of gel, equivalent to 37.5mg metronidazole.
