Formulation and available strengths

Solution for subcutaneous injection in a multi-dose KwikPen. Store strength variants: 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5 and 15 mg per weekly dose.

Licensed dosage guidance

Adult treatment starts at 2.5 mg once weekly for four weeks, then 5 mg weekly. If needed, the prescriber may increase in increments of 2.5 mg after at least four weeks at the current dose, up to 15 mg weekly.

How it is taken

Inject under the skin of the abdomen, thigh or upper arm once weekly. The KwikPen contains four weekly doses; preparation and needle requirements should follow the dispensed product's leaflet.
